Nunavut is the central and the biggest territory of Canada. It was alienated from the north-west Territories in 1999. Nunavut includes the chief part of the Northern Canada and most of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago creating it the fifth biggest country sub-division in the world wide. The capital Iqualit lying on the Baffin Island in the direction of the east, was selected by the capital Plebiscite in the year of 1995.
