Nova Scotia is a Canadian region situated on Canada's south-eastern shore. It is the most inhabited district in Atlantic Canada. Its assets Halifax, is a main economic centre of the county. Nova Scotia is the second smallest territory in Canada with an area of just around 55,284 square kilometers. Its inhabitants of 939,531 build it the fourth smallest-populous zone of the country, although second most trimly populated. Nova Scotia's financial system is usually basically resource-based, but has spread since the mid of the twentieth century.
The region’s mainland is the Nova Scotia isthmus bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, together with several bays and estuaries. Nowhere in Nova Scotia is over 67 km from the Marine. Cape Breton Island, a huge island to the north-east of the Nova Scotia main land, is also division of the county, as is Sable Island, a small island notorious for its shipwrecks, around 175 km from the area of the southern coast.
Nova Scotia lies in the mid-temperate district and, even though the county is almost encircled by water, the climate is nearer to continental rather than marine. The temperature is tremendous of the typical weather which is moderate by the ocean.
